On Saturday, 8 February, The Chuck Gallery hosted a powerful book reading event in collaboration with Read With Doja, where art and literature came together in a shared space of reflection and creativity.
Read With Doja’s mission to bridge gaps within the African and Black community was central to the evening, encouraging reading as a daily habit and a tool for knowledge, growth, and connection. Through the simple commitment of 30 minutes a day, the initiative continues to inspire intentional engagement with literature.
The event marked One Year of Between The Lines, offering a moment to reflect on shared experiences, learning, and the strength of the Black creative community. It was an evening of reading, conversation, and collective growth at The Chuck Gallery.
